Identity History
The History page opened for a specific Identity shows information about major events happened to, and/or related to the Identity. The history of the events store such details as:
- Timestamp - when an event happened.
- User Name - who was the Actor of the event.
- Details - any details showcasing what happened.
The event records are generated automatically, and represent a system-synthesized summary of the context of the event. To get the meaning out of the records, it helps to know the base system functionality. With the context details identified, the events can be qualified, and explain what happened.
Identity’s History
For example, the history on the figure above tells when the identity logged in to ObserveID. If to expand the 'Logged in' record, it is possible to find the details of the login, e.g. the IP Address. If to read the history further, it is evident, that the identity triggered the Permanent Access Request five times. If to expand the respective records, such an information can be viewed, as: whether a new account was created or new entitlements were assigned to an existing account; what were the assigned entitlements. Additionally, the history shows that the identity requested to unlock a privileged account two times, and the first time the request was rejected. All records are expandable and provide more details.
