Change password

The Password Change workflow:

  • works for any account type;
  • provides credential update mode options for selection;
  • resets the previously established password and sets a new password for the account;
  • verifies that the new password complies with the target password policy.

Credentials update modes are integration-specific, and depend of the requirements of the target system. If one credentials update mode, for example: an autogenerated one-time password is allowed on the Target, it is also available for selection within the Password Change workflow. For different integrations the availability of one or another credentials update mode can differ.

To run a Password Change workflow, do the following:

  1. Click New Workflow in the header of the Workflows grid in Identity Automation.
